I just paid for the power pack, it should be registered by now. Excellent!! I use a voyetra turtle beach santa cruz sound card, which I believe is a formidable rival to Blaster Audigy, a set of Labtech speakers, which will soon give way to my old analog pioneer amp and 2 mitsubishi floor speakers. I just ripped an old favorite cassette to ape in real time, no wave conversion, and am playing it now. It does everything you said it would, and is a lot of fun to work with. This package you've created is exactly what I've been looking for.

Now you're probably thinking, why all the reboots? Since I'm not a program writer, I don't know which ones need a reboot and which ones don't, so I just reboot after every new install of anything.

I updated directx to ver 9, then I found amp release 2 beta 7, dl'ed, installed, rebooted, then went back to system update page, installed new dcom,(I thought I had, maybe I spaced that one), dl'ed and installed dmc ver 9, rebooted, installed the codecs I want, rebooted, installed dmc file selector, rebooted, installed aux input, rebooted. I uninstalled everything, including power pack, and started over. Maybe I should disable it before I try a reinstall from your website.

Suggestions? An afterthought, I do run Nortons full time. I really believe that this is the audio program I've been looking for, I wiped wmp 7.1 and 9.0 off my pc last night. I don't mind uninstalling everything, rebooting and reinstalling everything again. When I dl'ed yesterday, I did not reboot after each install. another interesting note, when I look at view in explorer, folder options, file types, ape. I deleted ape codecs from control panel, rebooted, reinstalled from codec central, rebooted, still have the problem. During this time, you can click around to try things. During import, MC may be less responsive, but it will speed up when import finishes. You can stop the import and specify where to look if you prefer. MC will ask a few questions and will then begin importing your media files. When I go to poweramp config, file associations ape. When the download finishes, click on the downloaded file to install. It is as follows, a beige pop up displays the following place the pointer over any track and the (tech stuff) I referred to is displayed. Each track is preceded by the MS flag, the extension icon. after finding and opening up converted music with explorer, tracks are displayed on the right. well, I thought it would paste, but it won't.
